INVITATION to PROJECTS
Extended opportunities for the participation of Socrates-funded projects

Although official deadlines for entries have expired, the application period is being extended for Socrates-funded projects. Apply now at info@ruralearn.eu.

We proudly announce the organisation of the RuraLEARN events on the island of Chios, Greece, on 24-27 June 2007, which aim to examine and promote the crucial role that lifelong learning plays for development in rural Europe.

The RuraLEARN campaign offers a unique opportunity for projects funded by the Socrates Programme (Comenius, Erasmus, Grundtvig, Minerva, Lingua Actions) to disseminate their outcomes, and for project coordinators and partners to meet each other and exchange views, experiences, and good practices in a relaxed, highly stimulating setting. Projects which have produced, or are in the process of producing, new knowledge and innovative ideas in relation to the potential of lifelong learning for rural and geographically disadvantaged areas, are strongly encouraged to join us in Chios this summer. Also projects which could be of indirect interest to learners, teachers, policy makers, etc. in rural areas, are warmly welcome to present their experiences and outcomes. If in doubt, do not hesitate to contact the organisers at info@ruralearn.eu.

The international conference, the workshops, the exhibition and fair, the competition, all of them, and each of them in a distinguished way, present excellent opportunities for the dissemination and valorisation of your project outcomes.

Join the many renowned academics, researchers, and field practitioners from Europe and beyond who have already registered with RuraLEARN. Submit a paper, take part in the RuraLEARN competition, exhibit your work in the fair, let us host one of your project's workshops!
